What is YOUR Why-Factor?

You have a business or you plan on starting one soon. There are so many things to do... why would you be wondering about your "why-factor"? Not only that, but what is a "why-factor"?

Your why-factor is possibly the most important aspect of your business. It is all about why you are starting your business. If you know this, when things get tough, you can go back to your why-factor, and build up the motivation to keep going.

Every business owner needs a reason why they are doing what they are doing. They might want to earn a better income, support their family, provide motivation for others, and so on. The list of possibilities is huge.

Your answer might be right there on your mind, it might be the first thing you think about every day. OR... you might not know what it is at all. You might not have thought about it except for the excitement involved. The excitement can be short-lived once the work really starts, which is another reason to find your real reason to get into business.

If you don't know what your "why" is, think about it. Once you figure it out, write it down. Be as specific as possible. Keep the note in a safe place to have as a reminder when you need it. When life or business gets tough, look at that note and know that your cause is worth the time, work, and effort.
